Welcome

Susan Caudill is a name synonymous with keyboard creativity. A talented concert performer, recording artist, composer, and arranger, Susan and her husband Steve were on staff at Shadow Mountain Community Church with Dr. David Jeremiah in San Diego for thirteen years. There she played a four manual 117-rank Rodgers hybrid pipe and electronic organ, directed and arranged for a 40-piece orchestra, and also directed various singing ensembles.  Susan has been privileged to study with Ted Alan Worth, Richard Unfried, and Ovid Young. 

Susan is in demand across San Diego as an organist and pianist. Susan has published four organ and/or piano collections, recorded numerous CD’s, and published several choral anthems. She enjoys being involved in the lives of her children and 5 grandchildren.

Susan recently reconnected with a friend and colleague from the 80's, Jerry Nelson, to collaborate and record two projects: Tapestries of Praise, a delightfully diverse collection of organ and piano duets featuring hymns and classics, and One Voice Hymnal, a versatile new hymnal featuring old and new hymns. They have performed several concerts together.

For the last four years, Susan had been a substitute organist at Shepherd's Grove Community Presbyterian Church in Irvine, CA. The church produces the Hour of Power television broadcast with Pastor Bobby Schuller. Links are provided below for some of her compositions performed by the Hour of Power Choir.
